Hoppy’s Drysuit Services – Aberdeen Drysuit Repairs

By using Hoppy’s Drysuit Services – Aberdeen Drysuit Repairs (referred to as “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Services Provided                    

We specialise in the repair, maintenance, and servicing of:

  • Drysuits
  • Cags
  • Wetsuits
  • Jackets
  • Other related outdoor and water-sport items. This list is not exhaustible!

Repairs are carried out to the highest standards to ensure your equipment is safe, functional, and ready for use.

We also sell new, second hand and refurbished Scuba equipment.

2. Payment Terms

  • Payment for completed repairs must be made prior to despatch or collection.
  • Invoices with a payment date must be paid by the due date on the invoice, failure to do so will incur a 5% surcharge. Any fees accumulated to collect monies owed will be added to final surcharge.
  • Payments can be made via cash, Bank transfer, Sum Up payment link or PayPal.
  • Items will not be released for collection or delivery until full payment has been received and cleared.

3. Warranty

  • We provide a 12-month warranty on all repair work carried out by our team.
  • The warranty covers only the specific work completed and does not extend to other parts of the item.
  • The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, accidents, or failure to maintain the item as per manufacturer or our guidelines.
  • Any second hand drysuits sold by us will have a 6 month warranty.

4. Repair Process

  • Upon receiving your item, it will be inspected, and unless an estimate has already been given you will be provided with a quote for the required repairs.
  • Repairs will only be carried out upon your approval of the quote.
  • Any additional issues discovered during the repair process will be communicated to you before further work is undertaken.

5. Despatch and Collection

  • Unless agreed beforehand customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with sending and returning the item(s). Postage is tracked and insured.
  • We are not responsible for any delays caused by third-party courier services.

6. Liability

  • While we take the utmost care in handling your equipment, we are not responsible for any pre-existing damage or deterioration unrelated to the repair services we provide.
  • In the unlikely event of damage to your item caused by us, our liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement at our discretion.

7. Customer Responsibilities

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure items are clean and free of contaminants before submitting them for repair. Additional cleaning charges may apply for soiled items.
  • Customers must inform us of any prior repairs, modifications, or issues with the item at the time of submission.

8. Unclaimed Items

  • Items not collected within 60 days of notification of repair completion will be considered abandoned; however, every effort will be made to contact you. We reserve the right to dispose or use such items at our discretion.

9. Data Protection

  • We collect and use your personal information solely for the purpose of providing our services. Your data will not be shared with third parties unless required for the completion of your order.

10. Changes to Terms

  • We reserve the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. The updated terms will be effective upon posting on our website or notifying customers directly.
